Depth of Field

I was trying my hand at Molecular Gastronomy and decided to use that as my subject for this week's photo challenge. I used the 'A' mode on my camera and tried clicking pictures with different apertures. I tried to keep the focus on the spoon closest to the camera.

My need to click better pictures for my food blog was instrumental in getting me in the world of photography. I started with food picture websites and basics of DSLR cameras.

The pictures on my food blog have gotten better but I have a long way to go. Yesterday I found a couple of 52 week photography challenges and decided to give it a try. This photography blog is a record of those ephemeral moments that I capture forever with my camera lens.
