Birds in flight

Clicking pictures of birds in flight in winter is a challenge. Over the weekend I spent the afternoon by the nearby lake with the family. I got a chance to click a tiny Cedar Waxwing in flight. Given the size of the bird and the fact that it flew off the top of the tree this is the best I could do.

I did catch another of the Cedar Waxwings in flight but its wings are not spread out as I would have liked them to be.

This picture was for week 8 of the photography challenge for the theme - Nature and wildlife photography - birds in flight.
